Meet Lene V´s Stine Antonie Ødegård

Name: Stine Antonie Ødegård
Position: Recruiting and Training Manager
Company Name: Lene V

1. How many people in your organisation are typically involved in e-learning development?
I am responsible for developing e-learning courses throughout our retail stores. Including idea and development through to implementation as well as post rollout analysis such as results and participation levels.

Working in collaboration with store managers, staff and colleagues, we plan and develop the process together gathering views and ideas. We believe it is vital to get feedback and tips from those who work in the stores on a daily basis before beginning a project.

This involvement is important as it helps secure cross-company buy-in and ownership of the overall project as well as assisting with feedback on the course from a quality assurance perspective

2. How long have you been developing courses using Mohive?
I have been working with the Mohive eLPS for just over a year.

3. What software did you use previously to Mohive?
E-learning is a relatively new focus area for Lene V so we did not use any other similar software before choosing Mohive.

4. What type of courses do you develop?
Currently our course content is centred on improving the customers shopping experience. To do this we create courses that share knowledge and inspire our staff to deliver a good customer experience. Courses examples include, Sales & Service, Product Knowledge, Profile & Concept and Marketing Campaigns.

5. And how long are the courses you develop?
It varies dependant upon the course content, but the average course length is 20 to 30 minutes.

6. How much time does an average course take to develop from when you start work to uploading into the LMS?
On average it takes 2-3 weeks, depending upon how well ideas and themes are defined.

7. What aspect of the Mohive system do you find most helpful?
Mohive system makes creating courses easy and has the added benefit of providing a strong project management feature through the built in workflow – this is very useful as it provides a complete picture at each stage in the project.

Specifically, I greatly value the feedback feature within the quality assurance stage. This feature enables me to receive feedback on the drafted course such as what to improve and tips and ideas for next course!

8. Which Mohive templates do you find particularly effective for the type of courses you develop and what features make them your preferred choice?
I am especially fond of ”iExplore Flexi” which gives me great opportunities to be creative. I also really appreciate the large variety of templates on offer; it is easy to make the course exciting and simulating for the end-user.

9. What tip have you discovered that you would like to share with other Mohive users?
It is important that the courses appear as Lene V branded courses, rather than external courses. To emphasis this, we use a Lene V branded design skin and then use imagery and the tone of the language used in the course to bring the brand alive for the learner. This way, it helps to both educate the user about our brand as well as inspiring them to bring our brand to life in their customer interactions.
